FSX/REX/UTX/GEX all a MessX

Well pretty much what the subject says. I was flying with FSX and REX and addons from Aerosoft SF and MegaScenery X Socal, Vegas etc. Seeing all the posts and screenshots I decided to get the UTX + GEX combo as I was bored with the ever green useless textures on the GND. That's where the "MessX" started.

Now over continental US and especially the coast, I don't have water at all. The beautiful water textures of REX have been replaced by never ending green or city scape. I installed GEX then UTX as I bought them in that order. Then installed GEX for UTX texture mods with the tool itself.

Also, I have 2 of everything in downtown SF including 2 Bay Bridges... I tried reinstalling Aerosoft SF, but didn't help. It gets worse at night as AS SF doesn't have night textures so I get one lighted set and one dark set

Anyhoo...I am not worried about going through a whole re-install of everything, but this time I want to get it right.

For Continental US, I use the following add-ons:

MegaScenery X Socal, Las Vegas, Reno

Aerosoft US Cities X SF

FSDT KORD, KJFT (had the bglmanx.dll problem but seems to have disappeared)

And I also use REX with HD clouds etc.

FPS is pretty low at 9-25 over norcal and socal bay areas, but I am not concerned about that too much yet.

What order should I be installing them and at what point would I setup REX textures?

Also, for FSInn, which key should I back up from registry so that I don't loose all the mappings I have created for acft models using WOAI?

Appreciate your answers...hopefully I can get this MessX fixed before XMas and return to flying in sREXy skies.

Happy Hols!!
