Evan Webb 1035454 Posted December 6, 2009 at 04:42 AM Posted December 6, 2009 at 04:42 AM I have had this problem since August. It is a 2005 or 2006 Gateway laptop, and it cannot connect to the wireless internet ever since I got a new router and modem. I have spent long hours on the phone with tech support with the Lynksis/cisco, they did the thing where they take control of my desktop and try to connect to the wireless (I had the ethernet cable connected), but even they couldn't connect. I can't keep the modem and router with this computer, since they must stay downstairs, and my computer stays upstairs. Any tips/suggestions? I really miss flying online

It was actually as simple as running the Router software disk and reinstalling the software. Thanks for the help! See you in the virtual skies soon!
