Thomas Purbs 943647 Posted December 28, 2009 at 06:39 PM Posted December 28, 2009 at 06:39 PM First time online now with the new version, but I can not see any ATC messages. I hear the sound, and tried 'show unread chat handler' and 'show chat handler' in general settings - ATC message, but no message is displayed anywhere on the screen. Any help for me? Earl Miller Posted December 28, 2009 at 08:48 PM Posted December 28, 2009 at 08:48 PM Is this the first experience with EuroScope? 1. Have you installed the voice channels for the freq you wish to listen to? Make sure you have installed them correctly. 2. In "Quick Set" you'll see "Show text messages". By checking this you can see the text messages on the upper left of scope. All Messages will appear at the bottom of the Scope above your Command Line. By highlighting that freq you'll then see all "TEXT" messages. You'll see "Message" and in there you'll see all the sign in info. As you select a freq to listen to the freq will appear at the bottom left of scope. Earl Earl Miller ZLC_ARTCC / MTN073 Euroscope Development Team. Dare to fly the Rocky Mountains. Thomas Purbs 943647 Posted December 28, 2009 at 09:14 PM Author Posted December 28, 2009 at 09:14 PM All negative, I think you misunderstood me... I have hundreds of hours experience with the former version. What I mean is the ATC chat (if you send a message with '/' at the beginning). Gergely Csernak Posted December 28, 2009 at 09:31 PM Posted December 28, 2009 at 09:31 PM I could happen if you accidentally switch off the ATC messages. Check the general settings / page 2 / ATC message combo box. If you have "Do not show" there then it is the expected behavior. Set it minimum to "show chat handler" then you will have the handler to click on when a message arrives. On the other hand you always can use the .chat ATC command to open the ATC chatbox. Gergely. Thomas Purbs 943647 Posted December 28, 2009 at 09:43 PM Author Posted December 28, 2009 at 09:43 PM I started ES new, now I have it back. Maybe, because I have copied old settings files to the new directory, but didn´t change the path names. Thank´s for your help.
