Staff Vacancy - Training Administrator - Port-au-Prince, FIR

 

The Training Administrator is responsible for the development and oversight of the FIR training system.

 

Responsibilities:

 

* Reports to the FIR Chief, [Mod - Happy Thoughts]t. FIR Chief, and VATCAR3

* Review and improve on the training program to make it effective and

efficient for all FIR controllers.

* Provide reports to the FIR Chief/[Mod - Happy Thoughts]t. FIR Chief on the effectiveness and efficiency

of the Training Department.

* Maintain a high online presence.

* Performs duties as a staff instructor.

* Other duties as [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned by FIR Chief/[Mod - Happy Thoughts]t. FIR Chief.

 

Qualifications:

 

* Hold at least a Controller (C1) Rating

* Capable of working well in a team oriented environment.

* No recent disciplinary action.

* Intimate knowledge of ICAO or FAA phraseology and procedures.

* Join the Port-au-Prince FIR as a home controller.

 

Other Qualifications:

 

* Prior Instructor or FIR/ARTCC Staff experience a plus.

* Current Instructor rating preferable (but not required).
