Hans Utne 813128 Posted December 29, 2009 at 10:38 AM Posted December 29, 2009 at 10:38 AM Gergely, On the download page, I now find a reference to downloading of v3.1a. Is this a new installer? There is NO changes in file size and/or marking. Hans Utne VATSIM Pilot & SC

Hans Utne 813128 Posted December 29, 2009 at 10:51 AM Author Posted December 29, 2009 at 10:51 AM When I downloaded the new version, it said v3.1, the installation files says 31. Your announcement on top says 3.1. Before downloading, read the installation instructions at the WIKI docomeentation.Download EuroScope 3.1a >> Download from main site (Hungary) or Now I see v3.1a, so what has changed? Stephan Boerner 945550 Posted December 29, 2009 at 12:36 PM Posted December 29, 2009 at 12:36 PM nothing has changed. 3.1 = 3.1a. The a is intenal numbering which will be continued during the next beta stages until v3.2(a). Hans Utne 813128 Posted December 29, 2009 at 02:37 PM Author Posted December 29, 2009 at 02:37 PM Stephan, Thanks, as you had a comment in another topic regarding a possible new installer requirement, so I wondered if this had been implemented (with the a as the indicator for a newer version). Why use the 'a' if v3.1 is the latest? Would think 'a-z' would be better indicators for updates? Hans Utne VATSIM Pilot & SC
Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted December 29, 2009 at 05:23 PM Posted December 29, 2009 at 05:23 PM They are, but for the beta, the next beta is 3.1b, 3.1c and so on. The release versions should be 3.2a, 3.3a and so on. If there is a new installer/version/update there will be a sticky at least, you wont miss it EuroScope BETA Tester/Board of Designers
