Zach Hutcherson 1035014 Posted December 31, 2009 at 05:13 PM Posted December 31, 2009 at 05:13 PM Hello, I use the Saitek Yoke/Thottle Quadrant combo, with the rudder pedals. I was wondering how to set reverse thrust to the negative portion on my quadrant. Thanks! Zach
Koen Vandenabeele 1035829 Posted December 31, 2009 at 06:44 PM Posted December 31, 2009 at 06:44 PM The reverse parts of the throttle quadrant are actually buttons. You can configure these in FSX like this: 1. Go to the menu Options > Settings > Controls 2. Open the tab Buttons / Keys 3. Select Engines in the Event Category drop down box 4. Scroll down the list untill you find "Throttle (Decrease quickly)" and select it 5. Click on change [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ignment 6. Move the throttle into the reverse part, so all the way down, the box should fill with a button number 7. Click OK, then move the repeat slider for that [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ignment to the middle or all the way to the right. Thats it. Greets!
Zach Hutcherson 1035014 Posted December 31, 2009 at 09:07 PM Author Posted December 31, 2009 at 09:07 PM Thanks for the reply! However when i do this, it doesn't detect my throttle as a button, so any thoughts on how to fix that?
Koen Vandenabeele 1035829 Posted December 31, 2009 at 11:59 PM Posted December 31, 2009 at 11:59 PM Did you select the right controller in the controller list when doing this? So the yoke not the rudders? Also you can check using the calibration screen if the reverse button is actually working on your controller.
