Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted August 19, 2010 at 03:08 AM Author Posted August 19, 2010 at 03:08 AM Once the core is ready, the interface can be anything. I did it like the Garex VCSS 220 because that is what I use at work. But the project is postpone for the late October, due some real life engagements. Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted November 12, 2010 at 09:20 AM Author Posted November 12, 2010 at 09:20 AM As for the SATCAS Plugin, it is ready, but will be released with the new release of ES, as it needs some bug fixes that were fixed in the latest beta. As for the GVCCS I didn't have much time to work on it due some real life activities, but it will be finished. Brendan Chen 943434 Posted November 19, 2010 at 05:09 AM Posted November 19, 2010 at 05:09 AM (edited) So this will be released as a ES plugin in the nearest future? As a plugin running 'inside' ES, or a standalone application? I looks very interesting! Another plugin I would love to have is something like this: That would be an awesome plugin to have, but given the fact we are not looking out the window of a control tower (especially for controllers who don't have FS), having this although will be cool, but it might make controlling difficult? As we need to interchange between displays... Edited November 19, 2010 at 10:04 AM by Guest Brendan Chen VATPRC Tech Support You make the difference! Even Rognlien Posted November 19, 2010 at 09:55 AM Posted November 19, 2010 at 09:55 AM Todor, a request to you about the GVCCS. Can you do so the user can select a keyboard button to quickly answer and end a call?
Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted November 19, 2010 at 10:39 AM Author Posted November 19, 2010 at 10:39 AM Nope you don't need ES, this was created even before ES was created, and is working quite well EuroScope BETA Tester/Board of Designers
Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted November 19, 2010 at 10:48 AM Author Posted November 19, 2010 at 10:48 AM No, but I could be done as public. EuroScope BETA Tester/Board of Designers

Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted December 22, 2010 at 07:28 PM Author Posted December 22, 2010 at 07:28 PM Well the Plugin is closed beta, as it needs the newest ES beta, so before the official ES release it can't be used. But you can see the project that will be released after the holidays After it, the AWOS will be released (this is a screenshot of the dev phase) EuroScope BETA Tester/Board of Designers

Even Rognlien Posted December 22, 2010 at 08:59 PM Posted December 22, 2010 at 08:59 PM Nice! Can't wait! Btw, is it possible to get the raw METAR displayed below the weather information in AWOS? That could be useful.. And.. is QHN correct? Not QNH? And another question; do we have to forward our router ports to use the GVCCS, like the euroscope groundcall? Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted December 22, 2010 at 09:23 PM Author Posted December 22, 2010 at 09:23 PM Ohhh, typo Yes the METAR will be displayed in AWOS. As for the GVCCS, no you will not, it uses Skype, as the idea behind it was to byp[Mod - Happy Thoughts] the p2p connection of all VATSIM ATC's clients, plus it has some features already build in as transfer, hold, conference call and is simulating a land line, what the intercom is . Johan Grauers Posted December 22, 2010 at 10:07 PM Posted December 22, 2010 at 10:07 PM Can you design it so that if you transmit on your ATC frequency it does not send on the intercom? That way it will work exactly like to real life ones (in Sweden anyhow). Johan Grauers Event Coordinator - vACC Scandinavia

Even Rognlien Posted December 22, 2010 at 10:53 PM Posted December 22, 2010 at 10:53 PM Ok, nice! Does the AWOS support use of more than one active runway?
Neil Farrington Posted December 23, 2010 at 11:36 AM Posted December 23, 2010 at 11:36 AM Ok, nice! Does the AWOS support use of more than one active runway? Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted December 23, 2010 at 12:08 PM Author Posted December 23, 2010 at 12:08 PM For now it uses one set of runway (90-27, or 12/30). If someone show me a picture of AWOS for more then one, I can build it. EuroScope BETA Tester/Board of Designers

Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted December 23, 2010 at 12:24 PM Author Posted December 23, 2010 at 12:24 PM What about if you have three? I'll look at the picture, but keep in mind that the wind direction will be the same for all runways, as the METAR is for an Airport EuroScope BETA Tester/Board of Designers
Neil Farrington Posted December 23, 2010 at 12:48 PM Posted December 23, 2010 at 12:48 PM I'm probably looking for a solution before I actually [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ess the problem Good point. Neil Farrington VATSIM UK
Werner Rafteseth Posted December 28, 2010 at 12:41 AM Posted December 28, 2010 at 12:41 AM Will the plugin run in a window outside of ES? If so, is this only supported with the newest ES beta? Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted December 28, 2010 at 10:02 AM Author Posted December 28, 2010 at 10:02 AM Both plugins work "outside" of ES. AWOS will work with the present ES, where GVCCS for full functionality will need the next release (you won't be able to set/see the freq in GVCCS, but the main feature, the intercom, will work). Also I'm planing to connect it to VRC also. EuroScope BETA Tester/Board of Designers
Even Rognlien Posted January 6, 2011 at 10:38 AM Posted January 6, 2011 at 10:38 AM Do you think the GVCCS will fit an 8-inch touch-monitor with a resolution of 1024x768? I have been looking at something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Touch-Screen-Monitor-8-inch-wt-VGA-XGA-PC-DVD-camer-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem4aa702bbd9QQitemZ320629554137QQptZCarQ5fAudioQ5fVideo
Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted January 6, 2011 at 11:07 AM Author Posted January 6, 2011 at 11:07 AM GVCCS is 875x690 fixed size, so it will fit there EuroScope BETA Tester/Board of Designers
Ross Carlson Posted January 6, 2011 at 03:32 PM Posted January 6, 2011 at 03:32 PM GVCCS is 875x690 fixed size, so it will fit there The photos say max resolution is 800x600, but the seller's text description says 1024x768. I'd contact the seller and be sure it's actually 1024x768.
