Your examiner can get a pen and a pad of paper to write down any comments and add them at a later date. Paper has some marvellous qualities. The reason you were getting errors such as James posted was due to the MySQL server not booting with the startup. I have done this manually and everything is now running as per usual. In future, and as I say everytime the servers down, mentoring sessions, exams etc will still happen. Nevertheless, apologies for the downtime and any inconvenience it caused.
