RDVS Question

Really nice program Ross, but I have a question on the RDVS system.

At ZNY, approach positions are usually in this format: NY_XXX_APP (ex. NY_CAM_APP). In the RDVS Direct Access Button Config, what do I enter in the Prefix and Suffix? I can't enter NY_CAM_APP in either the prefix or suffix as it doesn't fit.

Is there a way to make Direct Access work with these callsigns?

Jorge,

You would input:

NY into Prefix

APP into Suffix

It will be routed correctly because of the frequency that is defined.

Right, it works just like POF file entries with respect to handoffs. They are based not only on the prefix and suffix, but also the frequency.
