Btw if you feel they are sharing a file wrongly, you can always send an email to vatsim (those listed above) to check out the issue.

 

In some countries for example, piracy is legal. That doesnt mean VATSIM is going to allow users in leadership roles in those areas to post pirated software, even if its on their websites they paid for.

 

If you see it happening, report it. Dont [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ume that the network condones it if you havent actually attempted to report it

why don't you just ask ivao for permission? it would be the most simplest thing and it seems like no body even considered it

And even if they did own the models and textures, they wouldn't give them to us. They go out of their way to prevent their model set from being used outside of IVAO, even filing complaints on YouTube against channels that talk about using their model set on other networks.
