Krister Larsen Posted April 13, 2017 at 10:03 AM Posted April 13, 2017 at 10:03 AM And one thing too ESOS is also covering ESMM FIR when ESMM is offline. Right now it is displayed that ESOS is not covering ESMM. Ryan Savara 1369362 Posted April 13, 2017 at 02:37 PM Posted April 13, 2017 at 02:37 PM Lately I've been getting a notification that VATSpy has stopped working when I launch it, resulting in Windows trying to find a solution, then telling me to just close it. It takes a couple more tried to actually get it running. I haven't had the issue before, nothing has changed on my machine. I have been launching VATSpy from command line in a custom bat file I've made, however I made sure to change I to the VATSpy install directory. The issue described above has always occurred when launching it from the start menu, which is what confuses me. Is there an active ATC position for it (like ESAA_CTR)? I`m not sure, but as I think ESAA is the common FIR for both ESOS and ESMM. But to the question, no, no active positions for ESAA You can check with Martin Loxbo (FIR Director in Sweden) to confirm the information Krister Larsen[email protected]Assistant Event Coordinator | ACCSCA16 | [email protected]VATSIM Scandinavia
Christoph Reule 1379750 Posted April 14, 2017 at 08:30 AM Author Posted April 14, 2017 at 08:30 AM Hi Christoph Thank you so much for your continued hard work. It really is much appreciated by a lot of people. I've noticed that the area sectors for the London (EGTT) and Scottish (EGPX) FIRs need updating. Here is a URL that should be of some use to you: https://vatsim.uk/area-sectors/ I think that this might be your biggest challenge yet! Cheers Ryan Hi Ryan, thanks for providing the graphical sector overview. Do you know where to get the sector coordinates from?
Christoph Reule 1379750 Posted April 14, 2017 at 01:28 PM Author Posted April 14, 2017 at 01:28 PM https://github.com/VATSIM-UK/UK-Sector-File/tree/master/Sectors Unfortunately not what I need, they contain definitions for EuroScope that I cannot [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ociate with the graphical overview provided on the VATSIM UK website (I'm sorry, I do not have EuroScope installed on my computer). Any other source (AIP etc.)?
Christoph Reule 1379750 Posted April 14, 2017 at 03:10 PM Author Posted April 14, 2017 at 03:10 PM Hi Christoph Try this: http://www.ead.eurocontrol.int/eadbasic/pamslight-B76FF966BF7C88D347E0948540CE5083/7FE5QZZF3FXUS/EN/AIP/ENR/EG_ENR_2_1_en_2017-03-30.pdf Cheers Ryan Thanks for providing the link to the official AIP. However, I see many, many CTA's in there... please don't get me wrong, but I won't have the time to try every single one of them to see how to "recreate" the needed sectors for London & Scottish Controls... Any chance to contact your local FIR chiefs to get the exact sector coordinates (I need at least LON_W, LON_N, LON_C, LON_S and SCO_E, SCO_WD)? Henry Weber Posted April 15, 2017 at 05:05 PM Posted April 15, 2017 at 05:05 PM As some countries have all their airports included in VATSPY I thought that maybe you could also add some more in finland: EFLP|Lappeenranta|61.044765|28.145645||EFES|0 EFET|Enontekio|68.361050|23.421602||EFES|0 EFKM|Kemijarvi|66.712641|27.156841||EFES|0 EFHV|Hyvinkaa|60.654349|24.881139||EFES|0 EFSI|Seinajoki|62.690767|22.835530||EFES|0 And EFPE (Pello)aswell as EFIL (Ilmajoki) can be removed, they dont exist and I dont know why they added them in the first place. For Estonia you should add EEEI|Amari AB|59.259439|24.203654||EETT|0 Its a military base. And something for Switzerland: LSMD|Dubendorf|47.398711|8.647284||LSAS|0 LSME|Emmen|47.090827|8.303364||LSAS|0 LSZR|St. Gallen–Altenrhein|47.485105|9.560275||LSAS|0 LSZS|Samedan|46.534418|9.884063||LSAS|0 LSZG|Grenchen|47.181778|7.417617||LSAS|0 Some of the small-medium airports of switzerland that were forgotten In Norway you may add this little airfield: ENSA|Svea|77.895925|16.721660||ENOB|0 And please remove ENBJ and ENHO, they both dont exist? Thanks once again!

Christoph Reule 1379750 Posted April 24, 2017 at 08:01 PM Author Posted April 24, 2017 at 08:01 PM Hi Matthew, Dublin TMA is already included (next release). Javier Escandarani Posted April 28, 2017 at 03:41 PM Posted April 28, 2017 at 03:41 PM Hey mate! Here in Argentina there are 4 TMA's that aren't being shown because their callsign ends with _CTR and they are not in the firboundaries.dat. I do have their coords, I could send them to you. I tried to do it by myself but I failed and they are really important cause people don't know that those controllers are connected. Thank you so much!
