Jack Meakins Posted August 30, 2020 at 10:44 PM Posted August 30, 2020 at 10:44 PM (edited) Hey guys,  Same as another topic below really. Usually occurs during (or just after) pushing back from the gate, strangely. Log file @ https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zQ6Ev4QHQ9dqJYse1LyAwof4d5JZC0LI/view?usp=sharing Any ideas? Thanks 🙂 Edited August 30, 2020 at 11:48 PM by Jack Meakins

Robert Shearman Jr Posted August 31, 2020 at 12:00 AM Posted August 31, 2020 at 12:00 AM Jack, the crash log does not indicate xPilot as the culprit. It points to XPLM_PLUGIN_XPLANE A bit of googling suggests that the in-game AI ATC sometimes throws this error when you have a high number of AI planes running. This is configurable on the screen where you select your aircraft and starting location. Do you have many running? On VATSIM the best practice is to get rid of all of those and have only network traffic (i.e. other human players) flying around, so there's no confusion with a "report traffic in sight / follow that traffic" or a go-around caused by traffic only you can see.  Cheers, -R. Jack Meakins Posted August 31, 2020 at 12:30 AM Author Posted August 31, 2020 at 12:30 AM @Robert Shearman Jr Hi Robert, and thanks for the tip! I did suffer X-Plane crashes when I first installed the game, but upgrading my graphics drivers fixed that. I'll definitely give that a shot right now, what you've just suggested 🙂 The reason I suspect(ed) xPilot is that in every log file I've inspected following a sim crash, the very last line prior to the crash line is always something related to xPilot and/or the CSL models being loaded etc. I'll report back! Jack Meakins Posted August 31, 2020 at 12:32 AM Author Posted August 31, 2020 at 12:32 AM And p.s. I did make the assumption that as xPilot controls TCAS, it would automatically set AI traffic to zero during that session, but I'm going to have a go now 🙂
Andreas Fuchs Posted August 31, 2020 at 08:10 AM Posted August 31, 2020 at 08:10 AM (edited) Hi Jack, do you use LittleNavMap? If yes, make sure that the associated plugin for X-Plane is up to date. The Plugin is called LittleXPConnect and you need to use version 1.0.19. Version 1.0.18 (that was delivered with the last release of LittleNavMap) will crash X-Plane 11.50, because there have been some changes in how Multiplayer traffic is handled. We had this happen to some users of swift pilot client and one brave man fought it through and found out about this plugin. Go and grab it here: https://github.com/albar965/littlexpconnect/releases Edited August 31, 2020 at 08:11 AM by Andreas Fuchs Cheers, Andreas Member of VATSIM GermanyMy real flying on InstagramMy Twitch streams of VATSIM flights and ATC
