Kyprianos Biris 1
I know, funny title, the point is I've been controlling with Euroscope many years. I witnessed the change to AFV for voice and was impressed by the simulation of VHF quality simulation with degradation depending on antennae and location. Is it me or has AFV lately become too good. I hear again pilots too "perfect" in voice quality, as they used to be in the past, not so VHF-ish Hellenic vACC | Olympic Air Virtual Europe Region Director 2001-2011 Pilot: P5 | ATC: C3
Dustin Rider 11
If you go into AFV settings, is the "Disable Realistic ATC Audio Effects" box checked?
Kyprianos Biris 1
That was the first I checked. Negative. Hellenic vACC | Olympic Air Virtual Europe Region Director 2001-2011 Pilot: P5 | ATC: C3
Board of Governors Matthew Bartels 74 Posted January 16 Board of Governors Share Posted January 16 Depending on pilot location and your transceiver setup they should sound good. VHF really doesn’t sound bad at close range. Gary Oliver 6
Have you tried the dropdown that allows you to change the radio type? We have a two to choose from in the settings menu. No changes since release in the standalone. Cheers G
