Ming Lee 811204 Posted July 14, 2005 at 08:31 AM Posted July 14, 2005 at 08:31 AM Since M750 and A1 is parallel until connecting together, we treat them as single airway. If Jewon still want us to use single airway, the best way we can do is suspend RVSM operation, then everything will be pure and simple. My suggest routes and Altitudes (SID and STAR for Taipei only) TAIPEI FIR TRANSIT VHHH.M750..RJTT(FL290 330 370 410) VHHH.M750.PILOX.APU.B576.RKSI(FL290 330 370 410, and FL270 OR LOWER will be available after APU) VHHH.A1.RJTT(FL270 or below until BULAN) VHHH.A1.APU.B576.RKSI(FL270 or below until APU, FL290 330 370 410 after APU) RJTT. A1.BULAN.A1.VHHH(FL280 310 350 390 before BULAN, RVSM after BULAN, ALT same as SW bound A1) RKSI. B576. SALMI. APU. A1. Jewon Lee 909227 Posted July 14, 2005 at 03:02 PM Author Posted July 14, 2005 at 03:02 PM Thank you very much for prompt answers guys. Mr. Ming Lee and Gary Law, Do any one of you guys know the VATASIA website admin? I am trying to add these routes to "route planning" section in VATASIA website but I am not a computer expert at all. Im pretty bad actually. If we can't reach the webmaster of VATAISA.net, we just have to copy and paste these routes for each airports listed on the evnet page. Event introduction page should be up soon. I just didn't figure out who will make it and how we gonna make it. Any suggestion? Gary Law 842041 Posted July 15, 2005 at 04:18 AM Posted July 15, 2005 at 04:18 AM Mr. Yamane,Ming Lee and Jewon Lee, I have just received a message from Manila that Some quilified local ATCs from Manila may provide Manila Approach in the event So that they will have a limited radar service on the area... Pilot will have another option for their destination or departure airport... And Manila pilots will be flying in the event too....So there would be more traffic I think.... I will provide more information to you in this forum if I have a latest one.... I hope that that would be a bigger event this time....And really thanks for all your efforts to cooperate the event... Jewon Lee 909227 Posted July 15, 2005 at 05:39 AM Author Posted July 15, 2005 at 05:39 AM Mr Gary Law, I do not have any opposition about this but honestly, i do not have strong favor on this either. The reason why is our event's strength comes from all three countries providing ATC service without ANY radar service termination. It's continuous. If Manilla comes in, they do not have capability of running whole FIR with center function - meaning there will be radar service termination for awhile. VATKOR thinks VATASIA should let Manilla participate in this event but exclude them from offical participating airorts (countries) because: 1. Radar service termination between HKG FIR and Manilla FIR will deviate from our event's promise: CONTINOUS ATC service. 2. We are not 100% sure about their capabilities in effective air traffic controlling. We do not know if they have acceptable level of personnel aware of basic ABCs in VFR & IFR air traffic control. 3. They do not have any official division recognizable either. However, I will do my best to provide ncessary information regarding Manilla if some pilots choose to go there. HKG FIR's cooperation and contact from Manilla ATC personnel would also be necessary. I also do not have any hostile intention against Phillipines ATCs. I am just expressing the thought based on the given fact and to make this event successful. Ming Lee 811204 Posted July 15, 2005 at 08:32 AM Posted July 15, 2005 at 08:32 AM I don't agree to let them join us this time. The major problem is we never have experiences to co-operated with manila. If we just work together on such a regional event, there will be lots of tasks to run traffic smothly. We'll be happy to hold a local event with manila first, and then step forward for regional event next time.
Gary Law 842041 Posted July 15, 2005 at 08:47 AM Posted July 15, 2005 at 08:47 AM Mr. Jewon Lee and Ming Lee, I fully understand your concern for this...
