Andreas Fuchs Posted October 27, 2014 at 09:09 AM Posted October 27, 2014 at 09:09 AM I just heard that some people cannot login to our forum. So, here's a link to the download site: http://www.mediafire.com/?zaj9d4iecdy151w I asked the author whether he could include the user manual into this download as well. Let's see. Try it and let us know! Cheers, Andreas Member of VATSIM GermanyMy real flying on InstagramMy Twitch streams of VATSIM flights and ATC
Johan Grauers Posted October 27, 2014 at 03:01 PM Posted October 27, 2014 at 03:01 PM This does look really good, I will have to try it out! Any chance this could be expanded to include clearance delivery and oceanic? For delivery RW in the UK the system we use is actually automatic or semi-automatic (depending on setting used) so if something like that could be done that would be even better. I'm quite happy to provide some info about how the PDC system works here if that's needed. But this looks like a very interesting plugin. I have been putting off datalink on vatsim because it is quite workload intensive (which is the opposite of what you want with CPDLC) but this looks like a step in the right direction. Now if it could be integrated into the tag as well, that would be amazing! Johan Grauers Event Coordinator - vACC Scandinavia
Adrian Barnett 1037621 Posted October 27, 2014 at 04:09 PM Posted October 27, 2014 at 04:09 PM Ok, I've got it installed and working now for KZWY. Should be testing it out this week if anyone using CPDLC would like to fly thru KZWY (New York Oceanic) airspace. Ok, I've tested this out a little with a friend. Doesn't seem like position reports work for this. Or any ACARS/TELEX. =( Maybe add that stuff in? PDCs or Oceanic Clearance options would be a BIG plus to add into the plugin as well. i7-4770K CPU 3.5GHz / 32GB RAM / Win7 Ultimate / EVGA GEFORCE GTX780

Kirk Christie Posted November 7, 2014 at 11:28 PM Posted November 7, 2014 at 11:28 PM Does this work with the airbus 318/319 system thing? If the Airbus A319 has a system that can log into the hoppies network, then it will work with any ATC system that also uses the hoppies network, speak to Aerosoft or the aircraft developer. Andreas Fuchs Posted November 16, 2014 at 07:42 PM Posted November 16, 2014 at 07:42 PM Sorry, I am currently at work and travelling around. The download link posted earlier on should still work. Let's all use and promote it actively to get more pilots interested in it. Maybe a theme-evening is needed. David Zhong Posted November 26, 2014 at 08:58 AM Posted November 26, 2014 at 08:58 AM The problem with widespread use is that it isn't integrated into any aircraft's FMC/CDU! (Except PS1) David Zhong

And yes, I uninstalled the original one and deleted it before installing the update. Any luck on a new link? or updating the current one? indeed the download link of the interim version is different from the one that I had posted initially (V1.0.1), I did not realize this until now. You can download the current release version through THIS LINK. PS: version 1.0.2 comes with a revised user manual and please note that you have to copy datalink.ini into the same directory where you have installed CPDLCApp.dll. After copying the file, open it with a text-editor and enter your Hoppies Logoncode. Save it and fire up Euroscope Cheers, Andreas Member of VATSIM GermanyMy real flying on InstagramMy Twitch streams of VATSIM flights and ATC

According to the new features list of the new Aerosoft Airbus, "Our version will start to work the moment IVAO and/or VATSIM will support it." So functional, not cosmetic. Its not vatsim that runs ACARS, VATSIM has nothing to do with it, the server is run by hoppies, and people make plug ins to connect to that server. Hoppies software is all open source, all aerosoft have to do is connect it to that server, this has been said before. I might go stir up the aerosoft forums. As far as VATSIM implementation goes, VATPAC uses CPDLC as we made a plug in to suit Euroscope.
