Thanks for the pics Michael! I'm hoping I get to see it in real life in a few months but it's always great to see pics from inside the ATC units around the world.

BTW: Am I right in guessing the top pic is from AIR and the bottom from GMC? If not, do the keyboards and menus look the same at all positions and what position are these from?

If you can get pictures Tom, can you put them up here please?

Hello Johan,

Both pictures were taken from the air arrivals EFPS. Depending on where we initially press on the FDE dictates which prompt box comes up.

The keyboard and clearance limit boxes are identical in any of the positions in the tower.

You'll have to let me know when your coming and I'll see if I'm working that day. You can nosey at all the other acronimed screens of EFPS, ATM, ASMGCS, ADIS lol.

I see, I will have to look at it more closely when I get there

I will drop you a line when I have a confirmed date, it's right now not certain but I'm hoping for late May (the 29th to be precise). But I'll give you all the details once I have them, it would be nice to have a chat with a fellow vatsimer

ZMP Enroute Combined Scope with approach centerlines and MIAs (Still in BETA development). New font in use for VRC along with appropriate DSR radar and scope colors.

The centerlines depicted are taken directly from actual enroute video maps to depict which approaches we are allowed to vector aircraft to (any approach request from an aircraft without a centerline to vector for may only be cleared for as a full procedure approach). The MIAs (Minimum IFR altitudes) are similar to MVAs at the terminal level. Altitudes are still being implemented for those MIAs to be displayed along with geography for use with any low-altitude/combined center sector. This will allow for more realistic services while working center at ZMP (ensuring aircraft are at safe altitudes while vectoring/joining approaches).

Close-up of the approach centerlines/MIA boundaries near northern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Very clean and easy on the eyes to improve scope clutter.

A simple screenshot just doesn't cut it anymore...

Usually have GVCCS on the iPad to the right of the primary monitor, but my network is acting up, so it doesn't work for the moment.

It is soooo cool running it on an iPad! Works so well with Air Display just works as a (in my case) third screen! And the touch makes it so more realistic! My only wish for it, would be to be able to resize it to the iPads dimentions, just resize the window a bit.

Karl,

Are you running all this off the Macbook Pro? What are you using to get the two additional displays? And are you running a bootcamp install of windows or a VM install?

Nope, I wasn't when I took this. There is a windows box hiding under the desk to the left, but after this was taken, I have installed VMWare and running it of there on my MacBook pro, and Mac Mini and it seems to be running pretty OK right now, still have a problem with voice "cutting out" after 4-5 seconds, but as soon as I fix that somehow, I'm throwing out the windows computer.
