James O Grady 904153 0
How do you get the numbers of the gates to show? Thats part of the new Euroscope Beta Its been part of EuroScope since the last public release. The gates just need to be added under the [FREETEXT] area of the ESE file, and can then be turned on/off in the Freetext section in Display Settings. Further info can be found here: http://euroscope.hu/wiki/index.php?page=ESE_Files_Description

Arjun Murthy 1051343 0
Excellent Ross. Why are certain 'pathways' different colours???
Sebastien Bartosz 4
Arjun I'm pretty sure those are the airway corridors. And the green parts are the TMA's/CTR's. New York ARTCC www.twitch.tv/zny_sb

Ross Bristo 1010003 0
Indeed it is the controlled airspace. I had a bit of a revamp of the sector file as the colours looked a bit rubbish. Link in first post updated Ross
Arjun Murthy 1051343 0
Thanks Guys, While i'm at it, here is my Scope. I recently switched to ES (for most of the time) since the new TAAATS beta is released. In Australia, extended coverage is allowed so one is zoomed out but the second picture is concentrating more on the ML-BIK (Melbourne Bindook) airspace. Enjoy Arjun

Arjun Murthy 1051343 0
u have to type them in ??? I just need to click a button and it displays them all unless i want to activate them one by one . Also, that is the TWR Radar type, i normally use the TAAATS Radar Arjun
Michael Hess 1046854 0
Well, the person making the sector file would have to type them in, as well as put in the coordinates. The user wouldn't have to, but someone does. -Cheers! Michael Hess ZMP Webmaster

Arjun Murthy 1051343 0
oohh. hehe yeah poor guy that originally had to do it. Thanks to technology we use most of the details from before and delete ones that need to be deleted and don't have to retype the whooooooole thing for each new AIRAC
Ross Carlson 125
Well, the person making the sector file would have to type them in, as well as put in the coordinates. The user wouldn't have to, but someone does. Not necessarily. They could come from a data file such as DAFIF. It's relatively trivial (for a programmer) to write a script to extract fixes from a data file, ignoring ones that aren't within a certain radius of the sector, and write them out to a sector file. I'm sure a lot of sector file authors type them all in manually, but certainly not all authors do that. Arjun Murthy 1051343 0
How exactly would I do that? And will VRC sector files work with Euroscope? Its on the Euroscope Manual. I tried it out yesterday and its really really good. Another idea is to host a gamespy multiplayer session on your LAN and use the virtual FSX tower view. Arjun
Wycliffe Barrett 0
Ryan You will need to getthe manual for Euroscope, Euroscope is an extremely powerful and complex radar client as id VRC, everything you have learned in VRC you must now unlearn as Euroscope does almost everything that VRC does but diffrently. It is not something you can just install and be controlling immediately. many new euroscope users spend several weeks getting to grips with it before feeling totally comfortable. I would suggest you download it and read the help files and manuals, before even attempting getting the Tower view working.
