Thomas Mathieu 998318 Posted July 6, 2009 at 09:38 PM Posted July 6, 2009 at 09:38 PM Ryan You will need to getthe manual for Euroscope, Euroscope is an extremely powerful and complex radar client as id VRC, everything you have learned in VRC you must now unlearn as Euroscope does almost everything that VRC does but diffrently. It is not something you can just install and be controlling immediately. many new euroscope users spend several weeks getting to grips with it before feeling totally comfortable. I would suggest you download it and read the help files and manuals, before even attempting getting the Tower view working. All the best Wycliffe (Euroscope user) That is very true. I started using ES a few weeks ago to take advantage of it's powerful features and the ability to run tower view with FSX and FS-INN. I had to learn everything over again. With over a thousand hours behind the scope (with VRC), I felt like a total noob! Ryan Geckler Posted July 6, 2009 at 10:36 PM Posted July 6, 2009 at 10:36 PM I think I'll have to give it a go... but say I was to use Euroscope as my main scope; would a VRC formatted sector file work, or is there another way to convert it? Wycliffe Barrett Posted July 7, 2009 at 07:13 AM Posted July 7, 2009 at 07:13 AM Ryan See what we mean about .sct, .sct2 and ese files. Just that alone can blow your brain and have you wringing your hands in despair, if you got to the main Euroscope help board you will find a whole list of sector files for many parts of the world that have already been created. Good Luck with your conversion and don't forget ask questions i am sure that we will be able to sort out almost any query, but dont forget the manual (which is excellent) is your first port of call. Alex Stjepanovic 963114 Posted August 12, 2009 at 12:54 PM Posted August 12, 2009 at 12:54 PM A question of interest. Coming from a place that has a sector file literally overflowing with data, I keep cracking my head every time I log on, on how to organize it better and have as *little* stuff turned on there as possible...Yet people here seem obsessed with having almost every possible type of a list and whatnot turned on. I have to wonder, do you REALLY need all that stuff? Controllers have feelings too...
